We celebrated Brandon's birthday this past week. It is hard to believe it has been another year! Pancake breakfast, presents, naps, and a movie, made for a great day. And Jackson has gotten "happy birthday" down perfectly now, so he said it all day long. We had creme brulee for dessert, and even though it was small, it was delicious!
Brandon started class last weekend, so 3 semesters down and 2 to go. He is going to have a very busy fall with several back to back weekends of class and a long, international trip before we even get to Thanksgiving. But at least he can rest assured that he will be missed because Jackson asks for him all day long. Little J has been talking up a storm and spending some time in time out lately due to the intensity he inherited from his parents. Oh well, he is learning. And Charlotte is trying to get on the move these days. She watches Jackson like a hawk and likes to play on her mat on the floor. Jackson is very good about showing her his toys and playing music for her, but we are not at the point where I can be in the next room while they are playing because inevitably Jackson ends up trying to tackle or "hug" her. I guess I should enjoy that because if it is anything like my brothers, he won't be hugging her much when they get older! :)
The birthday boy about to enjoy his creme brulee!
Jackson and Daddy. J is soaked as usual.
My sweetheart!
Our little cuties
The boys are happy...Charlotte is not so sure about all of this.
