Preparing for San Francisco

We are leaving for Brandon's reserve duty in San Francisco next week, so we have been packing and planning for that quite a bit lately. It will be Jackson's first airplane experience, so hopefully he will do well. The only problem I can foresee is that he doesn't like to sit still for very long and crawling in the aisles is not an option. Oh well, we will have to supply adequate entertainment I guess. We tried using our wrap in the backpack position for hiking in California and it worked really well. He likes being able to see everything too.

Last weekend I had a Continuing Education class on Saturday, so Brandon and Jackson spent the day together. I had nothing to worry about because they do just fine together. Jackson claps and reaches up for Brandon when he comes home from work, so the admiration is becoming much more apparent. In addition, exploring everything in the apartment is now his favorite pastime. He discovering the cabinet of pots and pans the other day and pulled out the miniature egg pan that Brittany gave us. He is quite certain that it is his personal pan since it is so small and he can actually lift it and carry it around.
