Daddy's boy

Jackson and Brandon have been doing some serious bonding lately. I don't know if Jackson will follow in his footsteps and attend Kings Point, but he sure enjoys the uniform.

And he is starting early in the kitchen, apron and all!
The weather has been incredible in SA lately. We were able to get out a lot this weekend and enjoy the sunshine. Justin Dunton came into town on Friday night and spent Saturday with us. We had a great time catching up and were able to eat several meals outside at the patio table near our place. Jackson of course loved that considering any excuse to be outside is right up his alley.

Caught in the act!

I surrounded Jackson with his toys this morning and went to wash my hands and put the groceries away. When I came back I found him like this...

Looks like Baby Proofing is on the weekend agenda. We are going to have to step it up a notch. He normally just finds me when he is bored with his toys, but now he has obviously found more "toys" that interest him! That is some hardcore reading material for 8 months.

Jackson's First Wedding

Jackson attended his aunt Brittany's wedding with us this past weekend, and we all had a great time. It flew by, but we did get to visit with family and enjoy our time in Midland. We drove in Thursday evening with my mom and jumped right into wedding festivities on Friday. Everything turned out well and Brittany was a beautiful bride! Now they are officially Mr. and Mrs. Bubba Dobson...hard to believe the wedding has already come and gone. Here are some pictures from the weekend...

Wedding Week!

We are gearing up for Midland and Brittany and Bubba's Wedding Weekend! Jackson has some new kicks to go with his dress clothes, so he will be styling as usual. His latest discovery is his tongue which he sticks out at us constantly now.

Brandon and I are subtly competing to see whether he will say "mama" or "daddy" first. I am trying to train him during the day, but I caught Brandon at Target getting him to repeat "Da Da" so it looks like I have some catching up to do. We leave tomorrow for Midland, and hopefully the drive will go well. At least this time Jackson will have someone to entertain him if he is awake. Cannot believe it is April already!
